Re: DQ

I have only just stumbled onto this news. Very glad to hear of some improvement. I wish him all the luck that he wished my wife when he heard she had a similar thing. My wife is slowly improving, the more we talk, the better she gets, but it can get you down at times. All power to your elbow Mrs Q.....

Re: Testing A 80

I agree with Zebbo,i use a rack out of necessity, not enough space to put gear anywhere else. The only time i had a hum problem was when it was full of Naim kit.Never had even a hint of hum since i swopped it all for NVA.

Re: Music and intelligence

My music collection spans every genre from Monteverdi to american prison work songs and most things in between ,but i wouldn't say i was intelligent, more, just open minded.I also live in a house full of books and pictures, no wonder my head is a bit cluttered.... 8-)

Re: What do you think is best .

I might just be a tad biased here, but i say get an AP70 with LS5. Plug it in and listen to them for ten years or so,thou' i might be swayed into some LS6 if my premium bonds ever pay out. ;)

Re: trial of equipment

I think you will find an NVA amp a very pleasant listening experience after living with Naim for so many years,i know i did.Never had any thoughts of changing it either..
