Re: Things that make you feel young

Currently carrying a 12 year old up and down the stairs, now that is great fun...not.

Fell off a high stool at school and dislocated her knee, would have been easier is she broke her leg and it was set in plaster.

Doesn't save login on Chrome either.
Working here, username & password remembered, if logged-in and then closed I am still logged in on reopening.

Safari isn't the world's greatest browser - its' fairly indeosyncratic (geared to media playback rather than standards). Have you thought of using Chrome for Apple?

Do try Chrome, you will be amazed at how quickly pages load compared to Safari.

Asda

I was in my local Asda (Hatfield, Herts) earlier this morning and shocked to find they now have a vinyl section. Albums between £8 -£15 and around 20 to choose from.

Have not seen an LP in a high street store for many years so this was quite a nice discovery :violin:

Re: Plug and Socket for Phono3

Amphenol used to make some line sockets / plugs that handled mains, there were 3 way versions and higher. Might have been from RS? MIL specification so good in the wet.

They suggested using chloroform to fix it all together. They were simpler (and less safe) time.
I was using chloroform in the 90's to do exactly the same, never passed out but certainly got light headed.
