Re: Buying 2nd hand hi-fi? Stay at home - use couriers.

Stopped by Police ? Lucky to find any round here at the moment. People have been in Wales. Some German holidaymakers were fined and sent back. I was a bit wary croepssing the Bridge. No need to worry as Avon and Somerset police are useless twats. Failed to break up an anti lockdown march last week ...

Re: What's in an enzyme.

Enzyme cleaners are normally not alcohol based and therefore suitable for 78s. The best known is L'art du Son which is the only one I have experience off. Effective in cleaning records and I believe it's supposed to work on molds. However I would recommend a rinse with purified water as it appears t...

You didn't get a review from me for the A20/A38/Model Worker whatever because it wasn't in r...

Re: New names and numbers for NVA Power Amplifiers - discussion thread

I've been living with the S80 Model Worker amp (and a prototype set of 'Model Worker Monoblocks' that Tomasz built me) for the past few weeks. They are wonderful amps. The lift from 50va to 80va gives them added grunt and texture - I've seen phrases like 'more bass' and 'more body to vocals' being ...
