Re: Room acoustics
Don't worry, they want straight back to the walls where they belong. I get what you mean with he honk analogy but they do push the sound out into the room. Having started to really appreciate the system I noticed that it sounded really good but on the other side of the room, hence my belief the soun...

I am blessed (cursed really) with a highly critical ear, whilst I will derive huge pleasure from the resonance of a single...

Re: Cube Speaker Stands?
After much experimentation, isolating cube from the stand is the way forward (IMO) There are a myriad of solutions out there, The Doc was using a puck devise to great affect. I had some anti vibration material originally used to isolate a ton of generator, cut into 1 1/2" squares and placed bet...

Re: Noise cancelling headphones
It's not a cheap solution but custom ear inserts work. One of my customers is a specialist http://www.sensorcom.com/. Re: New!!!!! NVA CD players
Just printed out a return note for the oppo 105, just doesn't match up to the NVA kit!!! Prior to reading this thread I had been looking at a Marantz SA14SI but if there is a NVA CD round the corner I'd be up for it. Couple of questions first though. 1.Could the statement version be one of the 10 ? ...

Re: Oppo Equipment
And - It does perform well across all formats I've tried certainly more musical than the M-Dac, plenty of inputs/outputs. I certainly have no regrets.
