Re: Nights out in your town - members recommend
Surprised Paul didn't mention 'Trillains Bar', right in the City Centre by the Library. A mecca for Metalheads where punters still wear lovingly patched/painted Denim jackets. We might well be heading there as the person whose 60th it is sings in a AC/DC cover band. :guiness; :character-beavisbutth...

All we have in this backwater shithole is pubs to avoid........ That seems to be the case in most places. Very sad comparing Cardiff now with what it was in the 80s. An old famous pub, the Vulcan, is being moved to a museum. Cardiff is famous for Brains Beer. There are still some Brains pubs left b...

What's everyone thoughts on this year's Glastonbury? I have enjoyed it without ever being immersed in it. I still have loads to catch up on but no one's set has yet knocked me for 6 but I haven't given up hope that might happen as I work through the missed sets on iPlayer.. Saw clips of Paul McCart...

We have booked the Quayside Premier Inn so the Crown Posada is probably close and looks good. Rosie's Bar seems a good venue near St James Park. As Brentford is a long way away and not a big attraction we should be able to get tickets. Are any of the pubs near the racecourse where we will be going o...

https://i.imgur.com/0b29OMq.jpg The oak stands arrived yesterday and were easy to put together which is just as well considering my lack of DIY skills. Played some favourite albums and was fully aware of what Tomasz meant when he said he could hear the stands. There is an increase in clarity throug...

£6.50 a pint I was glad I was driving  It's fecking daylight robbery. £5 for a tray of crap chips, £25 for a bottle of Prosecco, €2.50 for a cup of tea. Robbing bastards, I kept my spending to a minimum as we took food and soft drinks in. World has gone crazy and some people carry on as normal...

A difference between the new Cubes and the old is the detachable grilles with what looks to be finer mesh, a definite visual plus. I am wondering what effect they have on the sound.
