Re: Richard Dunn
Truly saddened by this news and my thoughts and condolences go out to Nadia and Richard's family and friends. I had the pleasure of Richard's company for the afternoon a while back here at home to listen to some NVA kit, Phono 1 and 2 being the main reason. It caused a bit of a laugh when we realise...

Re: Best cover version - ever!
I'd like to nominate Isaac Hayes's cover of Bacherach and David's Walk on by. The original Dione Warwick version is stunning and the Stranglers did pretty good job of it but the Isaac Hayes version is a song I feel as well as hear. It's also a great opener on Hot Buttered Soul.https://youtu.be/g8ha6...

Plugged it in and on came the lights, the drawer opened and the disc played perfectly, doesn't sound bad either.[/img] I should add that the JVC...

Re: Turntable Static?
Really rate the Zerostat, cured my turntable static problems. Also as a bonus it cured the bloody electric shocks I kept getting around the room.

Re: Streaming- Naim Musical Fidelity etc
I'm new to streaming as well, didn't want spend loads of pounds as it's not my prime source so I bought a second hand Cambridge NP30 for £100. It goes into my MF DAC and MF tube buffer and on into the shouty bits. Sounds pretty good using Spotify Premium and I quite like investigating all the online...

Re: What was the first record you bought
Still one of my favourite albums, still have my original 1978 copy but pretty much unplayable now.
I queued up outside HMV in Brighton for The Raven and got a copy with the 3D sleeve.
