Re: Larger Semi-Omni Development
Yeah, I read about Mike Hall, that was bad, though I have to 'fess up that I don't follow any Sport, even cycling. I just like riding ol' crappy bikes myself as far as I can. I don't like watching others do it. I think I lack the sport hormone. Sorry for hijack Steve, I'll shurrup now. PS. Get build...

Mind you, I'd be very fast coming back down country though wouldn't I cos its all downhill....

Well spotted, thanks Terry. I shall!
EDIT. If you're into that sound, have you heard of 'Fat Freddys Drop' ? It might be your cuppa... on record they're quite 'controlled', live its a different story, they really let rip, superb.

I think Phil Collins drives very nicely here...Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote: I put Phil Collins in the show off sub group and he really doesn't keep good time and drive the band so they are just a bunch of flash individualists.

Re: Celestion DL8 modding.
Do they sound in any similar to the ones I had at Tonbridge, as there should (in the end) be a distinct family sound, apart from the unknown influence of a horn tweeter to the design, the result of which I will find very interesting. Not that I've noticed particularly as far as my (possibly flawed)...

I bet, I'd like to see them if they come over again. I found their version of RATM's 'Killing....', brilliant.terrybooth wrote:I've seen them about four or five times here in the UK. Definitely fun gigs.

Here's one from me Yonodav Halevy. He's the drummer with The Apples. I've seen them a few time and he leads the band. I've seen them with a substitute drummer and they were no where near as good. I think you get the idea from this. Not 'arf. Thats great, I've not heard of him/them before, I like it...

A wet gloomy Sunday... time for DL8 playtime! Whahey! They work! Here they are in all their glory. Before I went on Hols a couple of weeks ago I gave them a bit of extra doping in the centre where the Bison Kit had pulled and reacted with the PlastiDip coating, its not pretty... http://i195.photobuc...

Re: your favourite drummer
I really enjoy superb clean tech drumming and powerhouse rock nutters but drummers that me make me sit up and gasp for air are the ones who play 'songs' on the drums. Being a bassist that sort of drummer made my job even more fun than usual I've found :) Example 1. Jason Finn. He plays with PUSA. He...
