The Gyro springs are in tension Dan, unlike the Linn.
Better design imo.

The Michell suspension can never be got totally right it seems and this is one area where they could do some work methinks. The Orbe bits do turn it into a different and better animal though. Wish Michell sold the Orbe motor unit with the tacho separately though.. that said, haven't phoned them up ...

The Doc gave me a length of this which I rewired a linear psu with and gave a good improvement in sound quality. Looking to source some more of this stuff, can anyone advise where I can pick some up? CPC, Farnell etc maybe? Cable jacket has embossed lettering: "PK TSE <HAR> HD5VV-F 3 x 1.5mm(2)...

Still not 100% sure if the bounce could be better but spent a bit of time on getting it as good as I could.
