I can attest that the AK4396 dac board is very good. +1. WOW,I just got up and turned on the Touch and my tablet and found out that i am now listening to spotify throu' a £100 i/c.

I made mine from a Wilmslow Audio kit in the 80's.I didn't know much about stuff then ,but I was amazed at the size of the crossover board, it filled the whole of the rear of the cab, only the BBC licence payers could have funded this sort of anal enginering.
