Dionne Warwick 'Sings the Bacharach & David Songbook' (2008) https://media.s-bol.com/JJAA0vOmJm2/550x552.jpg Not my usual Proggy ego-clashing or Fusion speed-spectaculars but pure music and timeless songs from a time when life was innocent and simple. Growing up as a child in the 60's, these so...

Re: Tinker, Tailor, Streamer, Pi.
Just worked out that the PC I use for streaming Downstairs must be about 15 years old. When I bought it, it had Windows Vista installed with an upgrade package to the then forthcoming Windows 7. Re: Tinker, Tailor, Streamer, Pi.
Definite improvement in the clarity of sound from the streaming PC with new PSU. More punch, crispness and openness. Re: Tinker, Tailor, Streamer, Pi.
A near-hit from a lightning strike this week blew the external power supply for the streaming PC in my lounge system. Oddly, it was the only device that was affected, the safety switch on the main fuse-box tripped out and nothing else was damaged. Found a replacement PSU on Amazon and have installed...

Re: Your last listen
https://i.imgur.com/orNZD3j.jpeg First LP I've bought in more than a year. Here Jean Michel Jarre collaborates with several other electronic artists like Brian Eno and Martin Gore to rework tracks from his recent Oxymore album. It's a bit abstract and experimental musically but the production and e...
