Kudos as a breed have their expensive tweeters set FAR too high in level (around 5db according to HFW - and this is extremely audible, even to me!), so they fizzle and sparkle with grey sounding Naim amps which are often sold with them. They also make their dealers a very good living per pair sold ...

The Cube spreads music around the whole room - Doc will tell you that the Cubes 'activate' the room. DJSR will tell you that traditional speakers 'point and squirt'. I hear this very clearly when I compare my Cube 1s to my Harbeth P3ESRs. As it happens, I enjoy both, but for very different reasons....

I DO find it hard to believe the cubettes will be an improvement over Kudos, and no I haven't heard them and I can believe they don't sound small 'but I'm sure the larger cubes be it 1 or 2 are far more likely to be an upgrade :whistle: They know what Cubes sound like without hearing them... ...wer...
