Thanks for all of help. Only need mm as no intention of using mc again also just gone back to basik lvx arm with that in mind. Looked at nva phono on ebay and i didn't feel comfortable with it being stored for 20odd years and untested, as i neither have the knowledge or skill to fix it if something ...

Well with the schitt mani unavailable new and the two S/H ones i bid on on eBay reaching £190+ i now need to look elsewhere as the buzzing project stage went back to its buzzing and don't feel confident plugging it in to the ap30! Been looking at the longdog audio (new) £199. or maybe something like...

Big faux pas by me, after 40+ of buying and listening to vinyl, I thought this whole thread a p..s take. Only ever used warm tap water ,few drops of fairy liquid other brands are available rinsed with distilled water and left to dry. simple :shock:

Addendum. I have found over the years the urine i have extracted on a day to day basis seems to work best.

I assume having cleaned separate coffee stain samples (organic) you will then refresh the fluid? otherwise would there not be some "cross contamination" of the" two records"? and then of course there is the question of similar dilutions ,ambient temperature et,etc,etc

ap30 playing away, its an all acrylic model, maybe been around the block a few times? don't mind though as it sounds GOOD. never noticed until today it has a 1/8th hole next to the on light just a hole and very neat, so much so i didn't see it so possibly its been "played with" at some tim...
