Moon and Bonham, both dead aged 32. Rolling Stone magazine's top two drummers of all time. Who's your favourite, Stu?

Re: Classic CD Players
Cheers. Not familiar with the brand. Will investigate. I believe small loudspeakers would be preferable to large. I reckon the largest part of the budget will go on the turntable. Got to be looking at a Rega 3 or Revolver.

Re: Classic CD Players
Thanks, Terry. I have a pal who has asked me to try and help him find a turntable / amp / loudspeakers combination for around £500. Just for a small flat he has moved into. I find myself constantly contemplating the best way to spend his cash.

Re: Hi-Fi Honesty
Just going on the reviews of the time. I have a lot of old Hi-fi Review mags, flat earth magazine and the equipment always generated positive reviews. Amps in their recommended products. Obviously, I can't comment on dealers etc. I have no experience. I believe you though.

Re: Rega ramblings...
I think Rega are fantastic. Great value and so helpful if any problems arise, even many years later.
Dave, what are your opinions regarding any of the Planar tweaks and so called upgrades? Do you remember one from years back called the Split Slab?
