It was relevant I thought, to the whole lack of NVA exposure. NVA almost was an also ran in the 80's, yet has far more ability than the basic Naim circuit, which is now dolled up to the nines in the excuse for 'progress.'
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way...The time has gone, The song is over, Thought I'd something more to say...

Lack of NVA exposure, should read lack of NVA and Exposure exposure  they suffered as well and were put out of business in the end, and seriously if you like the Naim PA thing then get old Farlowe Exposure amps, they out Naim Naim, far better musically. I even know people who prefer the old Exposures to NVA, I really don't mind, I see it as valid, they were good but different. More ballsy, but not as open or informative.

I remember demoing an Exposure amp against NVA back in the 80's. NVA was more musical & refined. Exposure more 'grunt' and sensation of power, but sound was somewhat flat - great for rock & metal, though.

The Exposure amps are like John Prescott. Full of fun, clout and fury

Hey Doc, could I ask how much this stupendous traded in phono 2 is please ? Rack space may be a problem long term with having to place the PSU further away so may go for a phono 1 instead, have you any traded in phono 1 Having heard this I have to have an NVA phono be it 1 or 2.
I got the addiction bad.
Thanks,
Neil.

Its a new one, I thought I had SH one but that is a Phono 1 traded in for a 2. So new price as at ebay I am afraid. That is why I told you to plug it in and leave it on.

If I had my brain in gear I would have realised no trade 2s as there is nothing but a TAS to trade up to.

The Phono 1 is nearly new and perfect and was traded up very quickly, so only 10% off as I could sell it as new.

I had a return about two months ago. He preferred his Dynavector 75. I racked my brains but don't remember others but there could be further back in time. I don't keep records of returns, not often but they do happen.
