Unread post by jandl100 »

If anyone is in the area of the lovely Forest of Dean in Deepest Gloucestershire - they are very welcome to send me a message and arrange to pop in for a chat, a coffee or cuppa tea, and some tunes. It's always nice to meet folks!

I have been meaning to offer to lug the TSS over to you to compare with the Parasound, but weight of the bloody thing and length of drive is putting me off.

That would be good - but as you say, one hell of a long journey!

We have a job starting there at the end of the month, I may not go up, just send up the chaps. But if I do I could swing by, maybe with a TSS in hand

OK - drop me a line as & when. Just need a day or so's notice to sweep away some of the cobwebs and tidy up a bit.

I would like to put in a request for the majority of people on this forum to move "up north" - Houses are cheaper , the women are prettier , the beer is better and it would help rebalance the economy. It would also assist me in popping round to hear 22k speakers and other equipment , which I would like to do a lot . No classical though , sorry Jerry :D

Ah, well, if my missus got wind of that she'd veto the idea.

maybe I could convert you -- a lot goes under the heading of 'classical' that might surprise you! :o
