Not organised bake-offs just someone with a system who *could* be available to let other members hear it to help them decide where to take their systems next.

If you are willing then put a post here with town and system that can be heard. Only available to forum member so we know who you are and who is visiting.

Terry Booth has done this and I think it is a nice idea.

JohanJongstra is coming over on Saturday for that very reason.

For anyone else in the Benelux area, I am 30km south of Utrecht.

Spent a pleasant couple of hours with johanjongstra today. He came over to get a taste of NVA and I hope he liked what he heard.

Spun a few albums, played some bass (he used to be a professional musician). And swapped some computer audio tips.

It's certainly fun to meet a fellow member of the Universal Brotherhood of Music Fanatics. And we discovered that we have a mutual acquaintance. It's a small world! :grin:

Cheers Johan. :guiness;

Fretless, thank you for your hospitality in your wonderful house. The NVA's sound wonderful, open and transparent, even with the unmatched tweeters. I enjoyed it very much. Decided to start with the sound pipes, I have to measure what length I need. I still have the a80's in mind, but that is for later.
Had a wonderful trip back home, took one ferry, than my iPhone ran out of juice, so no satnav. Had some trouble finding the second ferry. But hey, here I am...
And of course you are invited to my place. Maybe we can compare the Hegel against the Lampizator?
