The arm is worth 150 easy. I'm surprised you don't buy it and flog the arm on. The Rock is a gift at the price. They are a design classic, sound great and built to last.

Never heard or owned the Ortofon SPU. Doc, is your SPU vintage built? Sorry that I ask, I don't know the SPU family very well!!
