I have had several pairs of senns over the years, they were comfy but always seemed to lack something to me,i much prefer the Grado presentation.I doubt i will ever sell my RS1's,though they are much too expensive for me to buy new,i got mine from a pink fisher in Estonia for 100 euros, they were busted i he couldn't work out how to fix them... 8-)  took me one hour, result.

I had HD600's and was very underwhelmed with them, unlike my memories of them at work. Turns out that these DEMAND a proper headphone amp, not a headphone socket on a preamp or source component. I suspect they'd be excellent on an AP10 or similar serious device.

I could never get on with the lower Grado's, mainly due to comfort, but also finding them a little 'rough' at times. I'm sure they'd be better for me now with increased knowledge on how to drive them.

I use the GL1000 pads on mine,Dave very comfy, plus old age takes the roughness out of them
