They have apparently had the power cables changed so the warranty will be void. Just wondered if he was related to the guy who was selling the modified TSSs a while back?

Black Rhodium cables? That's 75% profit for the supplying dealer straight off (400% markup?). Probably no long term harm done as long as the internals are properly soldered.

I can confirm these are genuine and very good example as they are up for sale by a friend of mine. He didn't change the cable the previous owner did. He really looks after his kit so a trustworthy buyer.

It is fitting a IEC socket (or similar) and cable that makes the warranty invalid. ClassII construction must have fixed mains leads. I am unhappy as to what has been done to these amps but it wont mean I disown them for service.
