Just spoken to the police they have reactivated the case and I have given them the details, but I wont hold my breath.

Nva product as no individual identifier. It is thus one persons word against the other

Only two pairs of those TDS in that format were ever built and I know where the other pair are. The police realise they are bespoke with no serial number (which anyone can remove anyway), it is on the original notes from the theft. They know I can identify the amps stolen.

If it was the gear that was stolen from you, then I wish you the best of luck for the recovery of it.
The way that the Police seem powerless/under staffed/uninterested I wouldn’t be holding my breath either.

Hope they have kept the original records of the theft. If so, i see no reason why you should not get them back as it should not be too much trouble for them. From personal experience i know that my local police force do not keep records for more than seven years.

Yes they have record and confirmed the details of the theft that I agreed with. They have even given me the original case number and date 1/11/2010.

What a story this has developed into! I'll guess you won't want anyone here making the seller aware he is fencing stolen goods?
