On the subject of isolation devices, and for anyone interested in experimenting with them, I've got some that I no longer use and am happy to give away. Great if you are sceptical about whether they make a difference or not, you can try them out for yourself... All of the following are used, The Pulsar points might benefit from a polish.
2 sets of Quadraspire QX! silencers, approximately 24mm high.
3 sets of Nordost Pulsar Points, 2x8mm thread, 1x6mm thread.
1 set of 3 carbon fibre and brass supports, I can't remember the manufacturers name. They have a slightly Steam Punk look to them and are approximately 13mm high.
If you'd like any of them, just DM me your address and I'll pop them in the post to you (might be good to let me know you've DM'd me so I don't miss any messages).
In my experience, such things do make a difference and it's often perceived as an improvement, but I'm in the position of being happy with the set-up of my system as it is and don't feel the need to keep things that are not in use.
