What a great update, thanks Laz :clap:

I agree that the scale of sound is uncanny given the speaker cabinet dimensions. I have a pair of Visatons on order, so our parallel explorations continue!

Your box of spares is still here, why don't you head down for the speaker bake off and collect these then?

Those NVAllison Doc 6's sound as if they are really shaping up - I am very impressed with the performance of the Visaton tweeters in my re-vamped Cubes. Think you are in for another pleasant surprise there.

Not the point Jammy - Doc Mods is like the Linux operating system, it is a set of rules and ideas that are free to everyone to use and modify themselves as long as that is then again made freely available.

A way to end the grand hi-fi speaker rip-off.
