The original question was fine it got daft at the end of the last page of posts. For me that question was like asking "why is water", you scratch your head and realise you have got to give so much basics and I don't have time for it. If you want my advice forget the forum bullshit which is the pollution that is obviously behind the question and go read and understand about cable and what it is and how and why differences occur, and then go get 40 years of working with it in audio and then you can answer it for yourself.

I've recently purchased a pair of cube 3's they have solid cable inside too, they look original. I was going to start a similar thread myself but about whether it was worth changing this cable or leaving in situe. I know the doc has changed his designs as he developed and moved/learnt with the times. Just wondered if this was one of the things he changed?

Internal cable is the last thing you should worry about.
