Just would like to share one of my projects.
This is Roberts 747 radio made in 1990. But yes, its not an ordinary old radio anymore as you may guess
It has RPi fitted inside and from this week running RuneAudio
You can find more details how it was done and what was main goal on Instructables

You're behind the times Rikardo. There was a bloke on here a couple of days ago that did that. Loving the retro-kitsch vibe.

I have my Dads R747 in the garage - same colour too. Closest sound to the Hacker Sovereign (or VHF Herald) I could find.
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way...The time has gone, The song is over, Thought I'd something more to say...

I love it.Its very well made, used wood on sides and this orange colored leather. Sounds very nice and perfect for radio listening or even Tidal HiFi when I work on computer._D_S_J_R_ wrote:I have my Dads R747 in the garage - same colour too. Sometimes there is no point to turning on our main system, especially with the "heating unit"(Sugden A21)
