Yes it does take a while. Open the bag and things speed up somewhat. I would have to leave the port and other end of the transmission line open until it sets. Plants have been said to grow faster when certain music is played to them. How about a few Cliff Richard LP's played through the speakers in order to speed things up a little ?

Currently listening to Stevie Wonder Songs in the key of life on CD.

I have put the speakers right back to the rear wall. The bass has increased somewhat. Obviously not back to the levels of when the TL's were open.

The clarity of the whole musical performance is much improved. I can make out the actual notes the bass instrument/keyboard is playing much better. I guess I have been accustomed to the bass output of the TLine and this is a bit of an education.

All ports and lines change and screw up the phase of the signal (timing of the musical notes). This is why I say block them. They make the bass seem deeper but it is a distortion.

You can see from this the size of those solid steel weights that I plonked on the top. Won't be staying long term but at least until I have lined what I can of the cabs or filled them with cement !The foam that came out is on the floor next to the speaker. That won't be going back in



Another view. I know having the speakers in front of such deep window sills is not ideal but hey you gotta live. Power amps are sat on the sills right behind the speakers.
