Hi Doc,

I found myself more and more interested in idea of your DOC Mod Drivers
In near future I am planning to play with those Royd Envoys I have got from you last year.
Those were partly modded by you or somebody else.

Here are couple of photos to refresh memory

As far as I remember you said that those are modded original drivers.
Do you by any chance remember if you removed crossovers if there was any ??

Peeking through side vent it looks like no other mods were applied

I am looking at removing fluffy white stuff then steel/lead plating them, sealing cabinets and fitting cap and resistor ( not sure about spec as those are not your modded drivers so might need different than 3.3uF cap and 12 ohm resistor) BTW Did you say that those tweeters are not the best quality ?? will your modded one fit ?

after all this I would compare them to cubetts and report ;]

As with all DIY I am not expecting to be fully successful - due to my lack of skill than any thing else but I would like to learn more
and it was always easier for me to learn by doing/making than reading
Nothing to see here...
