Doc mod 3 way
Doc mod 3 way
If using all doc mod drivers in a 3 way speaker are the bass and mid both run full range with a capacitor and resistor only on the tweeter?

Yes. There are run in series also. Ie the 1st drivers negative is wired to the 2nd driver. There are plenty of diagrams on the net that will show you.
Because my midrange was in its own seperate enclosure and bass is 12 inches , I used 1cap and 1 inductor on mine. I didn't need any resistors, all 3 drivers were 6ohms.
It remains at the moment.

Don't forget they are wired as follows.
1st driver negative to second driver positive.
1st driver positive, 2nd driver negative. These wires go to speaker terminals.

I assume this is for the mid and bass drivers and that the tweeter is wired straight to the terminals with the cap and resistor on positive wire?
