Have we a candidate for the mechanism - because if you are pulling something apart which does disc playing and streaming (that Panasonic) , it starts sounding like TFS Mk II.

Not yet. that will be to come if you and the other computer boffs get some sort of pie and cream to fit in the box as well, as I have already said.

Most of the blu-ray players I have been looking at recently have the Pi-style network capability built in.
Doc - if you go down that road then you will have a disc-playing TFS. (Fretless)

ooooh thought of a TFS 2 veeeery interesting doc. (Lazmo)
