Hi Richard,

Playing the amp through all the cables supplied but wanted to check back with my usual speaker cables..... are Terillium Q Black (2 mtr lengths) ok to use with the amp?

Remember these are starter very cheap cables, if you want comparison with TQB you need LS5 or LS6. I am not happy about their cables being used long term, check the amp is not getting hot on the base, as they publish no sensible figures. BUT short term there should be no problem. If there is an instability problem being created it will show up on piano music mostly, it is a more subtle distortion on other music, it show like an echo or fuzz around the note. If you detect it do not use the cable.

With all the peculiar cables around I prefer to be safe than sorry, so insist on NVA cable for long term use.

Whilst I'm fine hanging on to this loan set (finger lurking over order button) I've had no contact from the next participant. Should the reviever pay the postage as I did Doc? (whats the usual with the 'loan scheme')

Again no rush

Review is underway

The person you are sending it to unless back to me. You just have to repack it very well. I recommend not to send it in the post, or by the cheap carriers. I use Interparcel as broker and book UPS standard.. It will be about £12 for the box.

Most certainly .... just used the very same pairing to ship my speakers off to their new home.

Thanks Doc.
