A30 discontinued

Unread post by Dr Bunsen Honeydew »

Prompted by build aggravation (finding room for everything) and lack of sales means I am dropping the existing A30.

I am musing a replacement using A20 cases, a lot easier to build. I have two choices I am thinking about, one is monoblocking the A20s, the other is an A20 with two power supplies internally one for each channel.

Opinions welcome but I will decide in the end after a bit of musing.

BUT A30 now off price list and off ebay.

I like the idea of A20 with two power supplies one for each channel.

I am leaning that way as well how about A20x (x for extra power supply) = £300 and change listing at ebay to a drop down one where you can choose between them. I am waiting for a stepped attenuator I am going to test out that fits in the P20, so there could be a P20sa as well. BUT the last one I tried was worse than the pot so don't hold your breath. The current sa in the P50sa wont fit in the P20 case.
