What are the tonal characteristics of the MK2 TIS? I'd imagine the detail is very extended etc. But, does it also sound very smooth at the same time?
Try looking at like this. The better the cable, the less it takes away from the original signal. Ideally, the cable shouldn't do anything other than transmit the signal coming out of the source to the target. If the source is rough then the output to the speakers should reflect that. Simiaslry, if smooth then the speakers should reflect that as well.
TIS takes away less than any of the many cables I have tried. However, cables can be system specific. TIS works like fun in mine. It comes with a 30 day trial period. Whilst that may not be quite enough to fully run in, it does give enough to get a strong flavour of how TIS can perform.
Hope this helps?
