New Speaker Company - Code Cube.

Unread post by Classicrock »

The company is Code Acoustics. Their cube speakers appear to incorporate some doc ideas (no crossover). The crossovers in their bigger boxes are digital - not sure what this involves and effect on SQ. At least they are direct and hate rip off shop prices.

I remember being stuck in eternal arguments about standing waves being caused within cubic boxes. They were still going on within the last 5 years from Wanker and the Bitch on PFM. It didn't seem to matter how many times I told them that the only way to *guarantee* you didn't have standing waves was with a cube and cone speaker, but they didn't seem to have the intelligence to work it out.

I suppose this will now go on and on, at least they haven't realised why you should put the bass driver on top of a cube.
