It's excellent. No drop outs or other audio artefacts. The sound quality is superb. Currently connected to my DAC via NVA SSP MKII Digital. Very happy

No. But have read many reviews of the Sonos and other streamers in that price bracket, like the Blue Node and the Raumfeld.

A Sonos Connect is okay soundwise, but not spectacular. Using variable volume degrades SQ as well.
In musicality, a Pi & HifiBerry sounds far more 'audiophile'.
