A friend of mine has got a pair of Snell A2 not at all dissimilar to those in that auction.
They sound very nice indeed when driven by his AN Oto integrated amp, although it gets a bit shrieky when played loud as the amp doesn't have enough grunt for that.
He is thinking along the lines of a nice KT88 amp last I heard.
