Albarry AP3.

Unread post by southall-1998 »

Picked up an Albarry AP3 passive pre at my local charity shop today. It was selling cheap so couldn't ignore it.

What year was the Albarry AP3 Pre-amp released in, and the year it discontinued in? What was its retail price?

That's a quality charity shop, I'm jealous.

In preston the best you get is second hand vinyl alas :)

Not sure which one you've got, all I know is from reading the internet, if its square front panel and ruby red perspex it's well thought of and somebody exhibited there's at last years Scalfold. But the doc is right, there tons on tinternet . :D

With Google, it's amazing how quickly you can become one of the leading references on obscure hi-fi equipment just by buying it and talking about it in on a hi-fi forum. Post up a photo or 2 and you'll come near the top with "item x photo" searches too.
