Re: FFFFFFFF'ing Computers Hate Me!!!!
Sometimes I wonder if PC's are semi-deliberately easy to bugger up or bugger themselves up to encourage people to buy new PC's - along with new operating systems whenever they stop working properly.
I've come across so many people who have bought new PC's when all they needed was a software rebuild.
Rebuilding the software on PC's is a modern skill akin to changing a tyre on a car. Something that everyone who uses a PC or car should know how to do. Something that's a pain in the arse to do when you have to, but something that only takes 30 minutes of your time and isn't that difficult to learn how to do it.
Having said all that, it is nice to get a new PC every few years, especially if you're into playing computer games or using it to help run a business.
