CROSSOVER LESS SPEAKERS.....
Re: CROSSOVER LESS SPEAKERS.....
I must admit I have been known to dress as a woman from time to time, I was auctioned off once to raise money for charity, I can't remember what was raised in the end.

Sorry, yes, the Visaton.jandl100 wrote:Aha !!! ... the KEF is 8 inch too - what driver are you referring to, Ali?

I have often thought of using a pair of subs, it would be an interesting experiment.Ali Tait wrote:A good conpromise is to use a full range with bass helper. The B200 I use is an 8 inch driver and does treble just fine to my ears, and the specs bear out what I hear. It's only used down to 200hZ, where a pair of Eminence Alpha 15 inch woofers take over on each side, so no lack of treble and no lack of bass either.

Re: CROSSOVER LESS SPEAKERS.....
Back to crossoverless speakers like most things in hi-fi it is logical and common sense. Crossovers are filters, all filters fff'up the music - full stop. The *ONLY* reason to have filters is that what you are working with (music or source equipment) is so ffff'up that it is the lesser of two evils.
