Re: new turntable on its way!
That really does look like a slight eccentricity as the movement follows the platter exactly.

What I was also trying to say!
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way...The time has gone, The song is over, Thought I'd something more to say...

I have had my say, do I really need to repeat. OK last time. The video look like it is machined eccentrically, OR REPLACE pots and microswitches, cleaning doesn't always do it especially with microswitches (pitted contacts).

Re: new turntable on its way!
Look at it logically upon the facts as reported
The table worked fine
The acuuracy of the strobe as not changed even if it had a machined accentrity.
Speed now fluctuates audibly in use.
Logically therefore the acuuracy or otherwise of the strobe is irrelevent except in setting the speed precisely. But it will still fluctuate audibly in use.

Re: new turntable on its way!
I can't see why there is any argument, the speed pots won't be expensive and if you are already in there they might as well be replaced at the same time.
If this were a paid repair by a third party it might be different but as it is DIY just replace all the suspect parts.
