Linn - the next rip off

Unread post by CN211276 »

According to a thread on PFM Linn dealers have been summoned to Glasgow for an announcement. What will it be? Will they jump on the fuse band waggon? £130 would be a bit cheap for them. They would need to add a 0.

Maybe the company is finally folding? They've been wobbling for years by all accounts...

I don't think they will want all their dealers in the same room with them when they announce that!!

Linn have not been wobbling for years, the financials they report are very healthy.

Flatpoopy seems to think it is an "improved" Urika Phono stage.

When a company relies on huge margins and a low turn over their situation is not sound. If the announcement concerns the fruit box it seems they are targeting the same mugs who have followed the upgrade path for decades. Two years ago it was the £50 belt and a lot of eeeediots swallowed it. They could be thinking that this is an easier way to con the senile mugs than digital.

Its as sound as any company, the fact they rely on high margins tell you nothing.
