It sounds really, really sweet. There's no digital glare at all, warm and detailed, very nice. It actually sounds very similar to my TT set up.
It's been on for a few days now and seems to be sounding better and better. It was to be very much a secondary source but I can see more of a 50/50 split probably, I certainly don't feel shot changed when listening.

AS promised, a few pics. Still a few battle scars but generally looks tidy. For what it's cost me I'm well happy.

Hmm, that could be interesting! Wouldn't want to bring all my other gear though!

I'm sure lots would like to see and hear the Sony. I'll have a system of some sort at Kegworth, no need for you to bring all the rest.

Cheers. The fascia still carries a few scratches but it's not too bad considering the condition it was in when I picked it up. I can never understand how high quality gear like this ends up in such a state, I always cherish my gear! The, (2mm thick), ally top plate had a dent in it along with several deep scratches and there was white paint splattered on the base plate and back panel, which, thankfully, came off with some gentle scraping. Don't look too closely and it looks fine. It operates perfectly which is the main thing. 8-)

Thats why Doc bought it as there was no much interest in it and it was really cheap - then it arrived and Doc looked inside and gave up - as far as i know you were the first person to touch it after him (I only looked inside the box Nadia found;])
Nothing to see here...
