I've been very buy lately looking at Ali Express and came upon this which I'm very tempted to try. Any opinions welcome. This supplier has a couple of nice looking interconnects and a power cord as well.

Basically, you pays your money and you takes your chances. on Ali Express. Sometimes they put more into the outer sheathing than they do the inner wiring I think.

I bought three different USB A to B leads some time ago, just to try them out and this was the best of the bunch, although it was easily bettered by my AudioQuest Carbon

I remember reading your reports on TAS Slinger. When I was looking through cables I was trying to stick with copper rather than silver plated. If I do buy, I post my thoughts on here. I will say I've been interested in a couple of tube amps and speakers, which have received good reports on You Tube, and one or two of these Chinese brands seem popular over here, Line Magnetic and Cayin spring to mind, I guess the cream does come to the top eventually.

Interesting but expensive.

The filter connects to a streamer through its built in ethernet lead and the associated 1.5m cable ideally connects to a switch. Apart from the price I see a big negative. That is I would not want my switch, as with the router and BMU, anywhere near the rest of the system. I have a long length of well shielded Cat 8 ethernet cable from the switch to the streamer. The review states that long lengths of ethernet cable reduce the effects of the filter. I do not know if that is the case or just marketing to promote sales of the Eno cable alongside the filter. On the manufactures website it is stated that the filter will improve any streaming system without reference to the ethernet cable connecting it.

I've asked this question on one of the forum I frequent, but I'll be buggered if I can remember which one
When playing my music from a external HD through my pc, what volume level should I have the pc set at 0 - 100: What do other members do, lower the volume on the pc and turn up the amplifier or vice versa or does it not matter?

I would recommend putting the PC volume to MAX and controlling the speaker volume via your amplifier.

I think the pc volume is on 80%, I'll give it a go at 100%
Thank you

Yeah, 100% (locked, if possible) on the PC. Adjust from preamp.
