I decided on the Beyerdynamic Aventha Wired. Initial impresions were not favourable, bright sound, little bass and over powering cymbols. But they just got bettern and better, very open sound, tight well defined bass and smoothe treble. I have never come acroses an item of kit which has improved so much after running in. I now prefer them to the Oppos which cost a lot more as they bring more excitement to the music, although perhaps less accurate. Ideal for out an about. An added plus is their light weight and portability. Highly recommended for walking about with or travelling. They rock. :grin: :character-beavisbutthead:
