USB leads

Guys

I seek your advice. I've been recording onto my computer with Behringer Xenyx Q802 mini mixer with a USB output. The mixer only cost about £80 so please bear that in mind.

It came with a bog standard cheapo USB lead (USB B - squareish to USB A - rectangular) lead and I'm getting a "hollow" sound out of it. Like the mids are scooped out a bit. Equalisation on the mixer doesn't seem to sort it and I wondered if you could recommend a moderately priced, reasonable quality USB lead to see if that might help.

Thanks in advance.

I use amazon basics USB cables in my sound system.

No complaints from me although I haven't compared it against any other cables.

See if this suits your needs:

It's a budget cable from Oehlbach with a pleasant, clear sound and no sonic nasties.

I have one that is surplus to requirements - yours for the price of postage. PM if interested.
