As suggested: I'd like to loan the BMU when available.

Sorry I have done a big goof, I have sent it to #4 on the list first, so can Simon Hickie be in contact with Classicrock for forwarding on to him when he has done his listening.

This is my old dem one I got back.

If I end up with a spare (if one is sent back for refund) I will make that a loan one as well.

Sorry for my goof to those on the list.

No worries Doc. I'm away in Wales until Friday, so the timing is in fact very good.

In system. On the fence so far. My Lehmann buffer stage does not like it and has a loud transformer buzz. Silent on mains here but some noise in my previous house. Any likely explanation? Any way it is now left connected direct to raw mains power. More precision but sound feels a bit 'tight'. More assessment tonight, then I will take BMU out and see if I can live without it.

BMU use is very much suck and see, as it is to solve problems, no problems then no need. This is why some people get little to no benefit and some get loads.

The only reason then to keep it is because for some people and some system, even without mains problems, it gives better music. I don't know why, but I suspect it has something to do with source impedance.
