Waiting for the new boards to arrive. Delay possible due to circumstances in the far East. Everything ready at this end.

Tomasz returns on Thursday 12th March.

We'll spend most of the Friday packing everything up for the WAM Show, travelling down to Kegworth on the Saturday morning to set up...and, hopefully, seeing a few of you on the Sunday. I'll be taking my 'Grand Lady' heavy plinthed Lenco (made by our very own Vinyl-Ant aka BTE Designs) with 12" Jelco and SPU cartridge, a very cute 1973 Marantz 'baby' receiver and my Klipsch Heresy 3. I'll take a few NVA amps, as well, to give the little Marantz a break (I would have had an A20LE but we sold them all!!) and some Cubes. Tomasz will have several headphones, his own NVA headphone amps and a very special electrostatic set up.

We'll travel back from the show on the Sunday evening and start building your orders on the Monday morning!

A day on the road - down to deepest Lincs to meet HFS member Theo, listen to his amazing system (the Technics R2R is mint and the open baffles are special) and collect the TFS (I think it's going to be a popular attraction at shows). Then, used some unexpected time (Tomasz's flight was delayed) to pop 'up 'n' over' to Vinyl-Ant's in The People's Republic of South Yorkshire.

Some TFS photos, tomorrow.

Yes, lovely to meet you Paul. So, this left the building:

...and this new NVA box turned up:

Review to follow: suffice to say, I'm impressed!

Just heard from Tomasz that he is through passport control, temperature check and baggage reclaim at Warsaw airport. A 2 hour wait for a 300km coach ride to collect his car from Katowice airport, home by around 0700 hours and then 14 days in self-isolation (obligatory for all Poles returning to the country). He's got some interconnect raw materials to keep him busy!

There must be a joke in there about 'Poles apart'.

Stay safe Tomasz. Be happy that you're home.
