An excellent violin concerto - big boned and romantic with a genuinely beautiful slow movement.

Holdridge is best known as a film composer - http://www.filmtracks.com/composers/holdridge.shtml - but he has done a fair few classical pieces.

I had a master copy of 'Many Too Many' and it sounded great and 'better' than the LP. I later discovered that it had been Dolby A processed. Played back without the de-processing, the sound is more 'intimate' as quieter parts are increased in level, leaving peaks alone. I find this far less intrusive than the current fashion for limiting peaks instead.

Bernie Marsden - Green and Blues. (1995) Probably best known for being in Whitesnake this was Bernie's tribute to Peter Green. There are only 7 Green originals on the 15 track album, and I like the fact that it features some of Greeny's stand-out tracks written by other people as well as classics like like Man of the World and Love That burns.

Average White Band. Eponymous album. Cheap Fame Vinyl reissue. Nevertheless, still does the business.
