This is one intense and hard-hitting selection. Superbly recorded as well.

Stunning, skull-crunching, quirkily weird and intricately beautiful. Here the proof of the influence that KC have had on a generation of heavy-rock acts like Tool, Dillinger Escape Plan and Tesseract.

Strangely close in musical construction to the above version of KC, but a logical short step away, is the music of Todd Rundgren - who has become my current 'Artist of the Month'.

Just re-ripped all the TR CD's I have and am preparing for some immersive listening sessions. My brain occasionally seems to 're-wire' itself and I find that I can appreciate music that previously baffled my comprehension.
