Re: Your last listen
Gave in and just downloaded a HiRes version of Endless River for slow consideration having skipped through a few tracks. Don't expect to be amazed though

Re: Your last listen
Just treated myself to the 40th Anniversary Deluxe 2CD version of Supertramp's 'Crime of the Century' and have long forgotten how many editions of this I have had over the years. This album and the follow-up 'Crisis? What Crisis?' formed my introdution to Rock Albums in the mid-70's.
First impression is that the new mastering is nice and clear. Still a truly great listen. And next, the bonus disc - finally the official release of the 1975 Hammersmith Odeon concert. I wasn't there but did see them on the 'Breakfast in America' tour in Wembley.
This album was the standard for testing Hifi gear in the late 70's - simply because it has it all: Quiet songs, loud songs, dynamics, orchestras, brilliant performances by all band members, and incredible songwriting and production. An impressive trip down memory lane.
