Put on 'Music For Films' last night after reading the above. Wonderful late-evening sounds - one of my very favourite Eno albums along with 'Another Green World' and 'Apollo - Atmospheres and Soundtracks'.

Brian Eno - Music for Films (Full Album)
This disc is worth it just for Percy Jones' bizarre bass-work. :banana-guitar: :banana-guitar: :banana-guitar:

Eno's entire catalogue was remastered by Simon Heyworth in 2005 and this edition has vastly better SQ that earlier versions.

I love this album, which was the first KC album I ever bought - maybe not the right one as it's so 'different' to their other early 70's work. Even as a stereo release, now done from the best masters available, I still think it's a great 'sounding' album...

For some strange reason only available as imports from Japan or the USA - the wonderful HDCD remastered versions of Joni Mitchell's 'Hejira' and 'The Hissing of Summer Lawns'.

Joni Mitchell - Edith And The Kingpin
Joni Mitchell - Shades Of Scarlet Conquering

Joni was the artist who got me listening to what song lyrics actually had to say, she has a gift for poetic storytelling that is in another league to just about everybody else. 'Hissing of Summer Lawns' is a contender for the title of Best Album Ever.

Listen and melt.... :shhh:
