There are moments when one runs back to the classics - the albums that formed you, made you into a music-nut and turned your adolescent brain into a mush where your only desire was to dissolve completely into the sound.
One of these is, certainly for me,
Supertramp 'Crime of the Century'. Not for the hammered-to-death Hifi Test Record that it was in the 70's and 80's - but because it is a great recording of a band on the verge of commercial desperation, fighting to get the chance to go on. With two singers/songwriters giving their all and a new band around them.
This is justifiably a truly great record and one that should simply be experienced and enjoyed, from time to time.
